Air masih tinggi dan jalan utama menuju Kuala Simpang hingga Langsa belum bisa dilalui. Puluhan truk dan mobil ekspedisi sudah tertahan berhari-hari. Bantuan masih sangat minim. Listrik padam dan sinyal terputus. Saat ini tim Save The Children terus mencari jalur alternatif agar bantuan bisa mencapai keluarga dan anak-anak yang masih terisolasi.
