Brian Flores is exploring all his options after the Minnesota Vikings‘ 2025 season ended, and many assumed those options would be head coaching positions. Nonetheless, the news that he interviewed for the Washington Commanders‘ defensive coordinator role shows that Flores is leaving no stone unturned this offseason.

Minnesota Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores has completed an interview with the Ravens for their head coach position.

Flores has added a second head coaching interview and is also, rather notably, taking a defensive coordinator interview elsewhere.

He writes, "Settle the Brian Flores situation. He has been one of the NFL's best defensive coordinators during his three seasons in Minnesota, but his contract is expiring and he'll have the opportunity to consider options elsewhere even if he doesn't get a head coaching job. It'll be a challenge to replace him with an equal performer."
