Amazon's lax job-posting process contributed to over hiring during boom times, a leaked internal document says. Now it's conducting layoffs.

Amazon has started the process of hiring for more than 1,200 full-time positions at its new fulfillment center at the former State Fairgrounds in Detroit, the e-commerce giant said Thursday.
