There is a solid slate of NBA games set for Friday, Jan. 2 as teams look to really get some positive outcomes on the board with he All-Star Break fast approaching.

Sunday Night Basketball debuts at 6 PM ET on NBC and Peacock.

The Rising Stars game will take place starting at 9 p.m. ET, Friday night, Feb. 13, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. — less than a mile down the road from the (now) Kia Forum where Magic Johnson and the Showtime Lakers once held court.

-The Knicks grab a narrow win over the Sixers in an AWS NBA Rivals Week game. There were 10 lead changes in the Philly-NY matchup, with the Knicks narrowly holding off the Sixers, 112-109. New York out-rebounded Philadelphia, 53-37, while outscoring them in second-chance points, 26-4.
