On 3rd-and-10 from the Longhorns' 25-yard line, Texas quarterback Arch Manning found receiver Ryan Wingo for a 22-yard completion, bringing the Longhorns near midfield. Two plays later, freshman running back Christian Clark ripped off a 22-yard run, bringing the Longhorns to the Michigan 31-yard line.

The sophomore quarterback accounted for four total touchdowns and the Longhorns outscored Michigan 24-10 in the second half.
